Loperamide is used to treat sudden acute cases of diarrhoea in adults and children over 12 years of age. It reduces diarrhoea by slowing down an overactive bowel. It also helps the body to absorb more water and salts from the bowel.

Buscopan Cramps tablets provide instant relief from the pain and discomfort that are generally associated with abdominal spasms and cramps. The medication works by an antispasmodic effect, which is generally provided by the Hyoscine Butylbromide. This ingredient relaxes the cramping muscle of the stomach and bowel. It can also be used for IBS.
